IV     CONFIDENTIAL STRESS WORKSHOP DEALING WITH LIFE, WORK RELATIONSHIPS, CRISES

These workshops utilise safe and pragmatic ways of working with root causes or current crises, depression, anxiety, conflict, stress, poor concentration, problems at work, work-rate, career progress.

These are participatory workshops for those who want to work on pressing issues or attend to experience, learn or help in the Life-Repair Structures and Scenarios utilised in the workshop to find, create and invent strategic and effective ways Out of the Labyrinth.

Structure

Each member of the group has a time to be focused upon individually, to assess what appear to be the causes of the problem and what steps can be taken to help the protagonist shift the problem to resolve the problem as well as to set up an inner psychological structure to ensure as much as possible that the problem does not recur.  If need be, the original family of the protagonist can be recreated in the group to get a clear picture of the pressures which the protagonist endured as a child and which helped fracture the child’s mind, emotions, psychological and physical stance and confidence.

This is a workshop in modern Pragmatic Therapy techniques utilising techniques like Psychoanalytic Insight and Interpretation (i.e. placing subconscious forces at the service of psychological repair); psychodramatic techniques, psychomotor structures (as originally formulated by Albert and Diane Pesso of the Psychomotor Institute of Massachusetts).  The work is done individually with each person where the protagonist is the centre of attention and all the resources of the group, its dynamics, its subconscious metaphors and inner play (members of the group who resemble family members of the protagonist.
